PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prepare an acellular vaccine having at least equivalent effects to a cellular vaccine. SOLUTION: This acellular vaccine for inducing immunity to Bordetella pertussis comprises 69-kDa antigen of Bordetella pertussis, filamentous hemagglutinin antigen of Bordetella pertussis, an adjuvant and physiological saline solution, has a weight ratio of the 69-kDa antigen to the filamentous hemagglutinin antigen within the range of (1:10) to (1:1) and has at least equivalent effects to the cellular vaccine.
