PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an optical member made of a resin designed to permit rapid and easy packaging of the optical member and a method of manufacturing for the same. SOLUTION: The optical member 2 is provided with metallic members 3 and 3 projecting from the optical member 2. Since land portions 4b and 4b on a stationary section side and the metallic members 3 and 3 can be fixed by solder 5, the optical member 2 can be rapidly and easily mounted. The soldering work is carried out in the state of forming positioning portions 3a and 3a to the metallic members 3 and 3 and detaining the positioning portions 3a and 3b to detaining portions 4a and 4a on the stationary section side, by which the optical member 2 can be fixed with high mounting accuracy to a prescribed mounting region 4.
