PURPOSE:To obtain an ink jet recorder wherein a resilient body is arranged adjacent and around the tip of an ink jet head thereby the close contact of a cap with the ink jet head is bettered so that clogging with ink can be prevented and if clogging with ink has occured, it will be readily solved by sucking. CONSTITUTION:A recess 1A is arranged in a head holder 1 and around an ink jet nozzle 3, the head holder 1 supporting the nozzle 3, and the resilient body or thin sheet 1B of rubber or the like is bonded to the bottom of the recess 1A. Accordingly, the close contact of the cap 6 therewith is improved, so that evaporation of moisture in the ink at the tip of the nozzle can be prevented to obviate clogging with the ink. If clogging with the ink has occurred, the clogging will be easily solved by applying suction to a passage 6A in the cap 6 with the cap 6 being abutted on the head holder 1. |
