PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an optical fiber array converted coated optical fiber with which the wiring of an optical fiber is facilitated to prevent damage when narrowing the pitch of the optical fiber constituting the optical fiber tape, and an array conversion operation is easily performed. SOLUTION: One end of an optical fiber array converted coated optical fiber 1a is formed as at least one or more optical fiber tapes 2a, and the other end is formed as two sets of optical fibers 3a again made into a tape shape. The optical fiber tapes 2a at one end are separated for each tape from one end to the other end, and are again made into a tape shape to be the optical fibers 3a at the other end after an arraying state is converted (array converting part 6). Each optical fiber 3a again made into a shape at the side of the other end has at least one optical fiber contained in each optical fiber tape 2a of one end.
