PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve a problem that the conventional wick can be clogged with far because the wick can not uniformly disperse and vaporize fuel fed to a vaporizing chamber by capillary tube phenomenon for the reason of good thermal conduction. SOLUTION: A plain weave wire netting formed of a metallic material is folded in an accordion fold such that a weave crest is made in an axial direction and two end parts are intercoupled and formed in a hollow cylindrical state. In a metallic material, it is preferable that oxygen-free copper excellent in thermal conductivity is used. In a manufacture method, a wire netting having a given width is folded in an accordion fold to form an accordion-form plate, the accordion-form plate is placed such that two end parts are overlapped with each other in a manner that a weave direction is directed in an axial direction to form a cylindrical body. Thereafter, the cylindrical body forms a hollow cylindrical body by reducing a diameter such that the adjoining wear crests of the cylindrical body are brought into close contact with each other.
