PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for stably producing good quality hard granulated slag at a low cost by relatively small investment. SOLUTION: This method for producing hard granulated slag comprises introducing molten slag discharged from a blast furnace into a buffer trough capable of inclining to control supply of the molten slag to a spray box through the buffer trough.
