A method for filling a cavity with explosive is disclosed, whereby a granular explosive and a pumpable explosive are mixed in a mixing chamber, directly on a filling opening for the cavity, or in the cavity, to give a heavy ANFO explosive. The invention further relates to a filling device for filling a cavity with explosive, comprising a first supply line (2), for a first supply flow of granular explosive, a second supply line (3), for a second supply flow of emulsion and a connector element (1), for connecting to a filling opening of the cavity or for placing in the cavity, for introduction of the first and second supply streams.
