摘要 <p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a toner which has stable electrostatic property all the time and assures formation of a sharp image and to obtain an image forming method by an electrophotographic photoreceptor, in an image forming method that reuses untransferred toner remaining on a latent image carrier after development and transfer. SOLUTION: In the image forming method for forming toner image by developing a latent image on the latent image carrier, the toner used for the development of the electrostatic latent image is such that the amount of toner particles having a size equal to or smaller than 5μm is 15 number % or less, the amount of toner particles having a diameter that is equal to or tow times greater than a weight average particle diameter is 5 volume % or less, the relationship between number average particle diameters D25 and D75 corresponding to 25% and 75%, respectively, in cumulative number distribution is 0.60<=D25/D75<=0.80, and the weight average particle diameter is 6.0 to 11.5μm. As a latent image carrier an electrophotographic photoreceptor is used. In the electrophotographic photoreceptor, the silicone oil content o a charge transport layer of the photoreceptor is equal to or more than 0.01 wt.% to the resin content of the charge transport layer.</p>
