PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a refrigerator with a door switch having a constitution wherein a pair of contacts connecting or disconnecting the switch has a structure sealable hermetically from outside and permeation of moisture into the contacts can be eliminated. SOLUTION: The door switch is equipped with a case incorporated in the main body of the refrigerator, a push button which is provided movably forward and backward inside the case and of which the fore end extends outside the main body, a spring which is provided at the rear end of the push button and pushes it forward, a magnet which is fitted to the push button and moves forward and backward therewith, and a lead switch which is disposed at a prescribed space from the push button inside the case and turned on/off by the magnet. The lead switch is provided in a space formed by a support wall provided inside the case, and the portion of the case surrounding the space is molded of an epoxy to be sealed hermetically from outside.
