PERSONAL PORTABLE DIGITAL TV AND SETTING METHOD THEREOF

PURPOSE: A personal portable digital TV is provided to have a communication network for bidirectional communication with an environment server, and to input necessary information through the communication network, then to receive the information by connecting to the environment server, thereby enabling a viewer to watch TV at any places under inherent digital TV settings. CONSTITUTION: An environment server(20) having a memory(30) stores various watching environment information by viewers in the memory. A DTV receiver(10) has a communication network for bidirectional communication with the environment server, and inputs information to the environment server, and receives information necessary for a personal DTV(12) watching. An authenticator(11) authenticates a viewer through data inputted by using stored viewer information. An environment variable storage(13) updates and stores environment setting variable information by authenticated viewers. The personal DTV(12) displays A/V signals and service data based on a watching environment in accordance with the environment setting variable information.
