PURPOSE: An apparatus for converting a detected voice value of a multimeter and a method for the same are provided to detect a voltage, a current, a capacitance, an inductance and a frequency by the multimeter and to output by converting the detected data values into a voice of a predetermined language. CONSTITUTION: An apparatus for converting a detected voice value of a multimeter includes a measurement target selection part(121) for selecting measurement factors and a measurement range of an object, a multi-language set memory(110) constructed with a respect language and a respect address corresponding to a voice information corresponding to each detected data, a voice selecting part(130) for selecting a voice output language for the detected data of the object, a pair of probes(140) for reading the specific value through a detection point of the object, a display part(150) for displaying a number and a character by reproducing the number and the character by coding the detected data outputted from the probes, a voice synthesizer(160) for processing an encoding after the specific number and the character voice data is read out from the multi-language set memory(110), a voice signal processor(170) for amplifying by low pass filtering after the digital voice data is converted into an analog signal, a voice output part(180) for outputting by converting the voice signal outputted from the voice signal processor(170) into a voice and a micro processor(190). The micro processor(190) controls to synthesize the voice through the voice synthesizer(160) by reading the corresponding language from the multi-language set memory(110) as well as controls to display the detected values as the number and the character through the display(150) after appropriately processing in response to a control and a calculation program previously set at a memory the detected signals inputted through the probes based on the selection of the measurement target selection part(121).
