PURPOSE:To manufacture a high-reliable oxygen gas concentration cell, in which single cells are integrated in series, with an improved yield, by a method wherein a plural number of electrode is printed on both surfaces of a raw sheet containing solid electrolyte ceramic powder, and pores for connecting in series the corresponding electrodes at the surface and the back are formed. CONSTITUTION:Electrodes 40-44, 45-49 are formed on the surfaces of raw sheets 1-A, 1-C out of raw sheets 1-A, 1-B, and 1-C, the corresponding electrodes are formed on the back, the corresponding electrodes on the surface and the back are connected, and pores 60-63, 64-67 for constituting a single cell are machined. After electrode leads 31'-39', 40-49, terminal leads 5a, 5b are printed, the two sheets 1-A and 1-C, and the sheet 1-B having a hollow part are heated and pressed at the end parts to form a hollow tubular body H. The whole is then sintered at high temperature to obtain a highg-reliable O2 concentration cell in which electrode pair groups are connected in series or in parallel. |
