摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a joined vessel manufacturing method in which the heat input during the joining is small and the joining strength is high irrespective of the surface property of a joint, and high sealability of gas, liquid, etc., can be obtained. SOLUTION: A tool having a threaded part 12 of a left-handed thread formed on a pin part 11 is erected on a flange part 1a from an upper part of the thickness direction of the overlapped flange parts 1a and 2a while rotating in the right turn (reverse turn). A contact part of the rotating pin part 11 with the flange part 1a is softened and plasticized by the friction heat between the pin part 11 and the flange part 1a, and press-fitted while stirred by the pin part 11 to perform the plastic flow of the flange parts 1a and 2a. In addition, the friction stirring and joining is performed by relatively moving (revolving) a tool 20 in the left-handed manner with respect to the flange parts 1a and 2a while applying the fixed pressure along the total circumferential edges of an upper vessel member 1 and a lower vessel member 2 with the pin part 11 in a rotating condition.
