PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain an industrial robot of environment resistant type with simple structure. SOLUTION: A hand 5 and a first cabinet 1a, and the first cabinet 1a and a second cabinet 1b are engaged with free to rotate through a gap 20. A valve controlling the opening and closing of the hand 5 is provided in the interior of the first cabinet 1a in which dehumidification means 3 is installed. Because, increasing of humidity in a cabinet 1a caused by intrusion of moisture though the gap 20 between the hand 5 and the first cabinet 1a, can be prevented, the moisture happen to intrude beforehand can be eliminated.
