PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To form an abrasive jet having a consistent abrasive concentration by controlling the supply rate of the abrasive to a water jet. SOLUTION: A water jet supply pipe 3 that introduces a water jet into a nozzle 2 to blow it the nozzle communicates with, through a path (abrasive supply tube 6), a container 5 that stores a slurry of a liquid and an abrasive. The abrasive is mixed with the water jet by making the water jet suck the slurry by means of a vacuum pressure produced in the water jet supply pipe 3.
