PURPOSE: A security device of a computer system is provided to control the booting action corresponding to power on/off of a system by using an RF(Radio Frequency) card and an RF receiving unit installed in the inside slot of a computer. CONSTITUTION: The device includes a non-contact IC card storing information for a user having a right to use a computer system, an antenna, and an IC chip, a storage unit embedding user information, an RF module to form a magnetic field in a specific area via an RF antenna and to read the user information stored in the non-contact IC card passing by the magnetic field, and a processor to make the computer system perform a normal action by turning on a main power supply. The processor turns on the main power supply by comparing the user information read by the RF module to the user information stored in the storage unit. If the user information read by the RF module is the same as the information stored in the storage unit, the main power supply is turned on.
