PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for joining a connection terminal capable of preventing any generation of a part in which an insulation film cannot be dissolved or peeled. SOLUTION: This method comprises an insertion step for inserting a wire covered with the insulation film in a cylindrical connection part of the connection terminal, a preliminary crushing step for crushing the connection part so as to tightly connect the wire to the connection part, and an electric conduction heating and pressurizing step for crushing the wire to dissolve or peel the insulation film while performing the electric conduction heating of the connection part and the wire. Thus, the wire can be evenly heated to its center, the insulation film can be dissolved sufficiently and the wire can be connected to the connection part. As a result, a connection part of the connection terminal to the wire does not generate any resistance, and the quantity of the connection part can be stabilized.
