PURPOSE:To enhance atomizing efficiency by falling liquid droplets without contacting the same with a liquid column, by providing a deflection element for deflecting a liquid column extending direction to a part of the outer edge part of the liquid column. CONSTITUTION:A support 11 is vertically provided to the inner surface of the bottom wall of a container 1 and a deflection element 12 is fixed to the upper end of the support 11 at one end side thereof. When a piezoelectric vibrator 2 is energized, the liquid column 6 is rises but, because the outer edge part of said liquid column 6 is contacted with the leading end 12 of the deflection element 12 at the halfway position of said column, the lift of the whole of the liquid column 6 loses balance and the liquid column 6 is inclined to the side contacted with the deflection element 12. Therefore, influence due to the falling of liquid droplets 7 is elminated to improve atomizing efficiency.
