FLAT LASER CATHODE RAY TUBE

PURPOSE: A flat laser cathode ray tube is provided to reduce the size and the weight of the cathode ray tube by using a flat electron gun block having a plurality of electron guns. CONSTITUTION: A laser screen includes a semiconductor layer(29) for oscillating a laser beam. A reflective mirror(28) is installed at one side of the semiconductor layer(29). A semipermeable mirror(30) is installed at the other side of the semiconductor layer(29). A heat removal support member(32) is adhered to the semipermeable mirror(30) by using an adhesive layer(31). A flat multi-electron beam generator is installed at a back side of the laser screen. The flat multi-electron beam generator includes a cathode(22). The cathode(22) is formed by stacking a plurality of metal tips(24) on a back glass substrate(21). An insulating layer(23) is inserted between the metal tips(24). A gate electrode(25) having a through-hole(25a) is installed at a front face of the metal tip(24). A spacer(26) is formed between the back side of the laser screen and the flat multi-electron beam generator. A predetermined space(27) is formed to preserve the electron beam energy.
