PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image forming apparatus and a paper carrying method for dispensing with change of the number of circularly carried sheets by making the rotating and driving timing of a 2nd paper feeding means same even in the case of forming images on both sides of several kinds of different size paper. SOLUTION: This image forming apparatus has a 1st paper feeding means, the 2nd paper feeding means receiving the paper from the 1st paper feeding means and carrying it to an image forming part, the image forming part for forming the image by transferring a toner image to the paper from the 2nd paper feeding means and then fixing it on the paper, and a circularly carrying means reversing and carrying the paper on the 1st side of which the image is formed and circularly carrying it to the 2nd paper feeding means again. The image forming apparatus is provided with a control means controlling so that paper carrying speed by the circularly carrying means may be changed when the paper size is different and the number of circulating sheets is the same. |
