PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To easily and efficiently set a work for editing a control parameter of an electric motor driver, such as a general-purpose inverter, in response to an object by a user. SOLUTION: A parameter list, having the control parameter settable by an electric motor driver and its set vale, and a plurality of templates according to an object in which a plurality of control parameters to be edited in response to the object, are extracted from the list are previously stored in a memory. A method for setting and supporting the control parameter of the motor driver comprises the steps of selecting one template in matching with the object from the plurality of templates according to the object by a user (step #101), and for displaying a plurality of control parameters included in the template and set values of the respective control parameters obtained (step #102) from the parameter list as the extracted result list on a display unit (#103) when the one template is selected (step #101). The method further comprises the steps of enabling the set value of the extracted result list, by using an input unit and enabling the parameter to be added (steps #104 to #107). |
