PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To collectively transmit image data with one face and double face originals mixed to the same destination without damaging facsimile communication compatibility. SOLUTION: When memory transmission is designated through a one-action key of an operating part 20 while timer transmission data can be stored in a one touch dial memory 18a, double face and one face images are read and stored in an image memory. When a designated time arrives and a plurality of sets of image data are collectively and continuously transmitted to the same opposite party, a plurality of sets of image data are collectively transmitted to the same opposite party while calls are separately divided between a set of the double-sided images and a set of one-sided images. Otherwise, collective transmission is performed according to a double-side procedure when the oldest image data are of double-sided images between the plurality of sets remaining in the image memory, and collective transmission is performed according to a one-side procedure when the oldest image data are of one-sided images between the plurality of sets remaining in the image memory.
