PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image file receiving device capable of efficiently receiving an image file without requiring any manual operation by a user. SOLUTION: This image file receiving device is provided with an image storage part 115 storing the image file receiving from another apparatus, a storage area monitoring part 116 monitoring a condition such as a free space of a storage area inside the image storage part 115, and a storage condition changing part 117 changing at least a partial storage condition of the image file already stored inside the image storage part 115 for allowing storage of the image file when the storage area monitoring part 116 detects that the image file being received currently or to be received from the other apparatus cannot be stored inside the image storage part 115.
