PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To efficiently measure both height and pitch distance. SOLUTION: A position measuring mode directly displaying/outputting a current position to be measured, a pitch distance measuring mode displaying/ outputting the pitch distance and a simultaneous measuring mode displaying/ outputting both the current position to be measured and the pitch distance are set so as to be selectable.
