PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a liquefied-gas evaporator from which gas supply can be continued as long as possible even when abnormality occurs in the evaporator. SOLUTION: This liquefied-gas evaporator is provided with an evaporator 3 which vaporizes a liquefied gas 29 maintained in a liquid phase by performing heat exchange between a second heating medium 21 and the liquefied gas 29, a heating section 10 which heats a first heating medium 5, and heating medium piping 6 which feeds the first heating medium 5 from the heating section 10 to the evaporator 3. The liquefied-gas evaporator is also provided with heating medium piping 7 which feeds the heating medium 5 from the evaporator 3 to the heating section 10, a pump 11 which circulates the heating medium 5, and a control section 13 which controls at least the heating section 10 and pump 11. The control section 13 continues the operation of the pump 11 even when abnormality occurs in the heating section 10. Consequently, the first heating medium 5 staying in the circulating flow passages 6 and 7, etc., can be supplied to the evaporator 3 and the supply of the liquefied gas 29 can be continued for a long time.
