PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a wall surface structure for a building allowed to be assembled simply and at a low cost, and having strong property and air permeability and intrinsic humidity absorbing and discharging property of the wood, which is healthy and familiar with the human being and has a resort nature. SOLUTION: This wall surface structure for a building is formed by at least a pair of supports 2, 3 provided substantially vertically, a plurality of wood materials 5 stacked substantially horizontally with both ends thereof engaged with at least the paired supports 2, 3, and a beam member 8 provided on the upper ends of at least the paired supports 2, 3 and fitted to the uppermost wood material 5.
