PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a rare earth magnet which is provided with a covering material which has high corrosion resistance and hardly causes large magnetic reluctance, and to provide its manufacturing method. SOLUTION: A rare earth magnet is composed of a rare earth magnet material whose main components are Nd, Fe, and B and main phase is an Nd2Fe14B phase and an amorphous material cover which covers the magnet material. The magnet can be obtained through a manner where alloy composed of elements forming the amorphous material is evaporated on the rare earth magnet material. |
