PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a chip electronic part which is excellent in mass productivity and can be manufactured without causing the trouble of boring holes in a nickel plating layer or a solder plating layer or of scattering molten solder when solder is molten by heating. SOLUTION: A chip electronic part is equipped with a board 11 and end electrodes 15 provided to its end faces. The end electrode is formed of a mixed material composed of conductive particles and resin, and resin which is never reduced in weight by 0.1% or above when heated up to a temperature of 200 deg.C is used as the above resin.
