DELIVERY NOZZLE

The inventive delivery nozzle is used in devices for accelerated cooling of a large rolled stock and comprises a body provided with a branch pipe (2) for supplying a cooler, receiving and discharge cones, an entry guide (3) having an external conical exit part (4) which is arranged in the body in such a way that it is movable along a longitudinal axis thereof and a nozzle-forming element (6). Said element is coaxially arranged with respect to the entry guide in such a way that it is movable and fixable with respect to the longitudinal axis of the body. The internal surface of the discharge cone (13) is embodied in the form of two conical regions (14, 15) which are coupled to a cylindrical region (16) at the ratio between the angles of the generating line of the first conical region and the generating line of the second conical region ranging between 1.2 and 4.5, the discharge cone being arranged in such a way that the slot nozzle is formed between the internal surface thereof and the internal conical regions of the entry guide and the nozzle-forming element. The invention makes it possible to regulate the ratio between tractive forces and retarding forces of the cooler flow by regulating the nozzle profile.
