Circuit board connector with lock arms

A connector holding structure is provided to securely hold a print-board connector 22 loaded on a printed circuit board (pcb) 23 in a casing 21. The print-board connector 22 includes a connector housing 28, which has a connector chamber for receiving a counterpart connector in its front portion. The casing has an opening 25 that receives the front portion of the connector housing 28. The print-board connector 22 has a lock arm 33 and stopper 34 on at least one surface of the connector housing 28. The lock arm 33 comes into engagement with the outer edge 26 of the opening 25 in the casing 21, and the stopper comes into contact with an inner face 24 of the casing 21. One embodiment includes pivoting levers 62 which operate to pull the cooperating connectors together: the levers are mounted on a first connector 51 and as the connectors engage the levers slide apart along the face of the other connector drawing the connectors together via pins 67 which are received in cam slots 64 in the levers 62.
