PURPOSE: A system for converting and matching ATM(Asynchronous Transfer Mode) UTOPIA(Universal Test and Operations PHY Interface for ATM) bus level 1 and level 2 is provided to easily convert a mutual control signal and data between the UTOPIA level 1 and level 2 and matching the converted mutual control signal and data. CONSTITUTION: A UTOPIA level 2, 1 converter(40) stores and converts ATM data received from a UTOPIA level 1 master(30) through a UTOPIA bus level 1(31), and transmits the converted ATM data to a UTOPIA level 2 master(20) through a UTOPIA bus level 2(21). The UTOPIA level 2, 1 converter(40) stores and converts data received from the UTOPIA level 2 master(20) through the UTOPIA level 2(21), and transmits the converted data to the UTOPIA level 1 master(30) through the UTOPIA bus level 1(31).
