DRAINAGE VALVE

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a drainage valve realizing miniaturization as much as possible and at the same time surely performing drainage motion. SOLUTION: A drainage valve 16 built in a water level-controlling apparatus for a paddy field is provided with a valve body and an operation means 16A. The outlet of a connection tube 15a is closed and opened by sliding the valve body in the vertical direction. A ring member 16g is fixed on the upper end of an operation rod 16b of the operation means 16A. A support member 16h is passed through the inside of the operation rod 16b. On the upper end of the supporting member 16h, a handle 16j which horizontally extends right under the ring member 16g is fixed in a freely rotatable manner. When turned upward, the handle 16j comes into contact with the ring member 16g and pushes it up to move the valve body 16a into the direction of opening.
