METHOD FOR MANUFACTURING CONDUCTIVE RUBBER ROLLER

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a manufacturing method capable of simply obtaining a conductive rubber roller 1 excellent in the uniformity of an electric resistance value at a low cost. SOLUTION: The conductive rubber roller 1 has a cylindrical shape and a shaft core 2 is inserted in the conductive rubber roller. The conductive rubber roller is manufactured by preheating a rubber composition compounded with carbon black in an oven or the like at first and subsequently preforming the rubber composition in a mold set to 60-110 deg.C for 3-10 min and next raising the temperature of the mold to temperature (e.g.; 170 deg.C) set for crosslinking to subject the preformed rubber composition to crosslinking reaction. The stress remaining in the conductive rubber roller is reduced by preforming and the irregularity of the electric resistance value of the conductive roller 1 is reduced.
