PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a screw working device allowing easy intrusion of mist into a screw-worked part of a mechanical part by a tap. SOLUTION: In this screw working device, a haft part 11 of the tap 10 is fixed to a chuck 20, and a screw part 13 of the tap 10 is rotated for insertion into a working part 31 of the mechanical part 30 to work the screw. Oil mist injection holes 40 for spraying oil mist toward a part of the mechanical part being worked into the screw by the tap 10 are provided at a part where the tap 10 is fixed to the chuck 20.
