PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a means to find out a patient's changes with the passage of time and more efficient improving shadow reading skills by generating two-dimensional chest projection images from three-dimensional X-ray CT images and obtaining fractional images over time of clear two-dimensional chest images without being shadowed by an area of ribs, or the like. SOLUTION: This is an image display device which is capable of displaying fractional images over time and is equipped with a section that prepares fractional images over time from two kinds of two-dimensional chest projection images obtained by converting sequentially successive two kinds of three- dimensional chest X-ray CT images over time at a section for converting projections.
