PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a fishhook disgorger capable of minimizing the damage to a hooked fish and easily and safely disgorging the fishhook by an angler in a easy posture. SOLUTION: This fishhook disgorger is obtained by forming a notch in a lateral face at the tip of a rod body of the disgorger and making the dimensions of the cross section of the rod body at the tip of an opening thereof differ from the dimensions of the cross section of the rod body on the hand side, thereby enhancing the visibility of the opening and making the total length of the whole disgorger including a gripping part extendable from a conventional disgorger. Thereby, the damage to the hooked fish can be minimized and the fishhook can easily and safely be disgorged by the angler in the easy posture.
