PURPOSE: A base station antenna is provided to significantly reduce installation cost and cost for cable arranged between amplifier and antenna, while maintaining stability of antenna. CONSTITUTION: An antenna system is installed by the steps of producing a patch antenna(1-1); connecting a duplexer(1-2) directly to the rear surface of the patch; connecting an output amplifier(1-4) directly to the rear surface of the patch; connecting a filter(1-3) directly to the rear surface of the patch; connecting a low noise amplifier(1-5) directly to the rear surface of the patch; connecting a phase shifter(1-6) directly to the rear surface of the patch; integrating active element to each patch; connecting each patch into an array; and connecting the array in serial or parallel.
