PURPOSE: A pin fusion system for CRT panel is provided to automatically adjust the elevating position of post member according to the size of CRT panel. CONSTITUTION: A pin fusion system comprises a support unit(30); a post member(32) coupled to the support unit, and which has a measurement tip(33) arranged at an end of the post member, in such a manner that the measurement tip contacts an inner surface of a panel(22) and measures displacement in the axial direction of the panel; an elevating unit(37) interposed between the support unit and the post member, and which permits the post member to elevate with respect to the support unit in such a manner that the measurement tip is movable between an operating position where the measurement tip contacts the inner surface of the panel and a retrieval position where the measurement tip deviates from the panel; a position sensor(52) for sensing the elevation position of the post member; and a control unit for controlling the elevating unit in such a manner that the measurement tip is disposed at the operating position, by comparing the elevation position of the post member detected by the position sensor, with a reference position.
