PURPOSE: A deferred payment charging system and an EC method using the same are provided to enable a customer to buy an article on a shopping mall by using the points accumulated whenever the customer uses a communication card. CONSTITUTION: A telephone(10) has a transmitting unit(12) and a receiving unit(14) and a terminal(14) is installed to the telephone. When the transmitting unit transmits a transmitting signal, the terminal transmits an ID of the communication card to a central server(16) and at the same time, transmits the data for the customer information and the telephone traffic. The server judges the telephone traffic of the customer by receiving the transmitting signal from the terminal. A customer DB(18) stores the customer information such as a name, a resident registration number, an address, a password and the ID of the communication card. A charging module(20) calculates a telephone charge by applying a discount price, a charge DB(26) stores the calculated charge and a payment module(28) receives the charge from the customer by informing the customer of the charge. An accumulation point DB(22) stores the accumulated point occurred whenever the customer uses the telephone.
