PURPOSE: Provided is a hair iron which includes a hair treatment member to give indirect heat source from a heating lamp for preventing the hair from being damaged so that it raises efficiency in treating the hair. CONSTITUTION: The hair iron comprises the parts of: a pair of arms(12,14) which are bound by a pivot(16) to do opening and closing movement with including a grip part at a close location to the pivot; a pair of the hair treatment members(22,24) which are respectively placed at the arm with griping the hair by opening and closing movement to compress and treat the hair; a fixed member(30) which is placed at rear middle side of the hair treatment member with including a pair of reception parts with an upper side opened; the heating lamp(40) which is fixed at the fixed member with heating not less than one hair treatment members; and an electricity connection member which is placed at the rear internal side of the hair treatment member and connected to one edge of the heating lamp by pin-plug type to supply power.
