PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To efficiently use a memory for saving images during photographing. SOLUTION: The control method of a digital camera (101), having a photographic part (104) for photographing an object and a communication part (108) for communicating with an image viewer (102) comprises a process (S203) of photographing by the photographic part to acquire image data, a process (S206) of transmitting the image data acquired in the photographing step to an external unit, a process (S209) of receiving data from the external unit, processes (S213-S217) of determining whether the image data are to be stored in a memory medium based on the data received in the receiving process and, a process (S212) of storing the image data on the memory medium based on the determination in the determining process. |
