The device according to the invention has the objective of enhancing the yields of centrifugal wheels by an arrangement of the existing inter-blade elements 2, intended to smooth the stream of fluids at the outlet of the rotor in order to better penetrate the diffuser. Between the blades 1 which pick up the fluid at the inlet of the wheel there are arranged inter-blade elements 3 and 4, whose leading edges are placed at points ensuring a progressive and equal division of the flow rate. The lengths of these inter-blade elements, which should be greater in number than 1, decrease in the direction indicated in the left hand zone. Their profiles differ from one another and from that of the blades 1. <IMAGE>
