PURPOSE: Provided are methods for relieving the violence and spare diet of an estrous deer and for promoting the growth of antlers thereof by administration of 19-nortestoserone derivatives. CONSTITUTION: An estrous deer is relieved from violence and spare diet by orally administering or injecting an effective amount of 17beta-decanoate-4-estren-3-on and 17beta-cyclohexylpropionate-4-estren-on thereinto. The growth of antlers thereof is promoted by the same way.
