PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a drier which first dries a thin plate material, such as printed wiring board, etc., without fail, secondly dries the through-hole of the printed wiring board material, too without fail, thirdly will not form extremely high temperature regions, thereby preventing the oxidation of a circuit, etc., and occurrence of corrosion, wire breaking, etc., fourthly, scarcely has influence due to temperature on the outside thereby improving work environment, and fifthly can be made entirely of resin. SOLUTION: This drier 15 is used in the manufacture process of thin plate material, such as printed wiring board, and this has a heating chamber 16 and a drying chamber 17. That is, this drier has the heating chamber 16 which heats the thin plate material such as the printed wiring board A or the like, being soaked in hot water K at about 50 deg.C in a dip vessel 18 after being rinsed in, for example, a water rinsing device 1, and the drying chamber 17 which blows air at normal temperature or thereabouts against the heated thin plate material, so as to dry it.
