PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a power supply adapter and a charger for a power tool, which enable use of the electric tool even though only compressed air is supplied as a power energy source. SOLUTION: In the power supply adapter 20, electricity is generated by using compressed air as an energy source in a power generating part 22. A specified voltage or specified current is outputted from the electric energy by a voltage/current control 23. The electric energy outputted from the voltage/ current control 23 is accumulated in a battery 24. A direct current power taken out from the battery 24 by a plus terminal ta and a minus terminal tb is supplied to an electric tool ET. By so doing, electric energy in the battery 24 for which compressed air is employed as an energy source can be supplied to the electric tool ET, thereby enabling use of the electric tool ET even though only compressed air is supplied as a power energy source.
