PURPOSE:To obtain a diffusion transfer photographic film unit having high releasability and providing a picture having superior gloss by constituting the photographic film unit of a releasing layer contg. at least a sulfinic acid-contg. polymer and a releasable water-soluble polymer, and crosslinking further said polymers with a compd. having at least two vinyl sulfonyl groups. CONSTITUTION:A releasing layer contains at least a polymer(A) having functional groups which forms covalent bonds by reacting with vinyl sulfonyl groups and a releasable water-soluble polymer, wherein said polymers(A) are crosslinked with a compd. having at least two vinyl sulfonyl groups. Said functional groups for forming covalent bonds by reacting with vinyl sulfonyl groups contained in said polymer(A) as a component of the releasing layer are preferred to bond directly to C atoms of the polymer. The exemplified polymer(A) are polymers having sulfinic acid groups, pref. a salt of polystyrene sulfinic acid. Thus, a diffusion transfer photographic film unit having high releasability and providing a high quality picture having superior gloss is obtd. |
