PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a document image transmission system that can transmit a hand-written document to a desired recipient via an electronic network by a user with a simple operation and acquire feedback information from the recipient. SOLUTION: The transmission system is provided with a recipient information storage section that stores personal information of recipients and received information of a receiver of each recipient, an operation section that designates the recipient to which transmission of information is desired, and a hard disk drive that has a shared folder storing a feedback file generated for a reply from a recipient when document image data obtained by an original read section are transmitted to the receiver of the recipient designated by the operation section and to which data from each receiver are written. When reply data are written in the feedback file in the shared folder, a log information file is edited from the reply data of the written feedback file and the transmission information and data on the basis of the log information file can be outputted.
