<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To relax restrictions on band assigned to multimedia information due to send/receive of service control information, and also make the band division processing unnecessary. SOLUTION: A communication terminal 1 is connected to a communication service unit 2 by a channel for multimedia communications selected via a circuit switched network 4, while connected with an extra service unit 3 by a channel for control selected via a packet switched network 5, and performs send/receive of the service control information related to the multimedia information provided by the communication service unit 2. The extra service unit 3 receives service control signals from the communication terminal 1 via the packet switched network 5 and sends the signals to the communication service unit 2, sending the service control signals, such as operation mode specification and service guidance information to the communication terminal 1. Thus, a service control means 26 of the communication service unit 2 gives a direction of readout to an accumulation means 27, based on the service control signals from the extra service unit 3.</p> |
