PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a radio telephone line extension unit in which a terminal can be connected with a telephone line without requiring any wiring work. SOLUTION: The radio telephone line extension unit comprises a master unit 1 connected with a telephone line and comprising an incoming call detection element 3, a hook circuit component 5, signal conversion elements 4 and 6, a transmitting section 7 and a receiving section 10, and a slave unit 11 connected with a terminal and comprising a hook switch state detection element 13, a dial signal detection element 14, a bell signal generating element 16, signal conversion elements 15 and 17, a transmitting section 19 and a receiving section 20 wherein communication is conducted between the mater unit 1 and the slave unit 11.
