PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a suspended packet sending device which enables 'suspension' and 'resumption' functions. SOLUTION: The device comprises a device-status collection section, which collects data of whether devices connected to a network are to be suspension and resumption responding; a decision section which decides whether a device other than suspension and resumption responding devices is involved in a suspension field by referring to input suspension device numbers and port numbers on the record of the suspension and resumption responding devices; and a packet sending section which sends suspension packets with the input suspension device number and the port number, when all the devices are decided as being suspension and resumption responding devices in the decision section.
